Ask about your packaging →Registration assistance and year-end reporting support, with packaging representative service and system participation in the agreed scope. The €49 starting package includes €10 of recycling contribution.
For the normal stated scope, select this supported packaging plan in the Service Catalog and continue through the existing Cart. You can ask about your materials or existing registration in Chat first. Expert follow-up is optional for unusual materials, larger volumes or historical problems.
An approximate example for the included recycling contribution is 10 kg of cardboard packaging plus 1 kg of plastic packaging. It is an illustration, not a guaranteed weight allowance, an official flat tariff or cover for every material. The applicable material mix and quantities are stated in the service terms.
Tell us the packaging materials, quantities and period you need covered. The service agreement identifies the applicable scheme, covered period and reporting scope. Extra quantities, special materials and historical corrections are explained separately before extra work proceeds. The starting offer does not promise unlimited packaging, every material or a fixed renewal price.
LUCID registration is free of charge. Our fee pays for the stated support, representation and system participation. Businesses based abroad without a German branch that sell empty packaging or packaged products directly to end users in Germany have been required to appoint a packaging EPR representative since 12 August 2026. The producer must still complete and maintain its own LUCID registration.
The packaging representative is appointed through the applicable agreement and LUCID procedure. Buying a package alone does not complete that appointment. Packaging representation is separate from a product EU authorised representative service, including the €95 EAR programme.
Your contracting provider, representative where applicable, responsibilities and covered periods are identified in your service documents. We can help you understand the required next steps; processing dates and marketplace acceptance depend on the relevant organisation and requirements.
